There is 1 vessel each week, planned always the same day of the week.
Delays can happen, so it`s good to plan a buffer.
Most customers book their flight several months in advance and book the shipment 4-12 weeks before departure.
Tourists are allowed to use their motorhome in Europe for 6 months without paying any import fees and without any adjustments to technical-regulations (temporary import). If you want to stay longer please contact us.
NO restrictions for right hand drive vehicles. NO Carnet de Passage required.
For an intended stay up to 90 days no visa is required in order to enter the Schengen Area.
To stay longer you must have a visa. Apply for a visa through the embassy of the country where you will spend most of your time.
To be able to drive out of the port and travel through Europe, you must have a valid European road insurance.
We will give you a contact of an insurance company which insures vehicles from overseas in Eruope.
Dogs and cats are accepted almost everywhere in Europe.
No quarantine is necessary in most countries. Only a few countries like Island have special quarantine rules.
The vehicle does not need any conversion.
But if you want to use power supply on campgrounds you will need a portable power converter 220 to 110V.
Furthermore gas bottles need a small gas adapter.
Shipping costs are calculated according to the maximum dimensions of the vehicle:
Length x Width x Height = Volume
Each centimeter counts. If the dimensions have been altered the price may be affected.
The freight rate is € 57,00 per m³ from the east coast (Halifax / Baltimore) and $ 109,00 per m³ + $ 7,20 per m³ Panama-canal-crossing from the west coast (Los Angeles / Seattle).

All rates and fees can change until departure date. Freight rate normally changes once a year and the fuel price mostlikely each quarter.
Again, the ships depart on a weekly basis. The reservation should be done 2-3 months in advance. Even short-term bookings are possible if there is still space available.
For the return shipment the present freight rate is € 63,00 per m³ from to east coast (Halifax /Baltimore) and $ 109,00 per m³ +$ 7,20 per m³ Panama-Canal-Crossing to the west coast (Los Angeles / Seattle).
From Germany / Belgium we can also offer shipments to other continents:

From USA we can also organize shipments to South America (Columbia / Argentina).
For €300 we can offer you a marine insurance for a current vehicle value of up to €50,000, including baggage/content up to €2,500.
An upgrade to a higher vehicle value is possible (eg. €100.000 for €425).
Luckily theft is very rare on the most frequent route from Baltimore / Halifax to Europe.
98-99% of the shipped motorhomes / campervans arrive exactly the same way as delivered.
From other ports like Brunswick, Los Angeles, Seattle or Veracruz the theft rate is higher, but still not as bad as it often appears in the internet.
